Rather narrower. We have both sizes medium and larger and the difference is only in length, not width.

If it weren't for the short distance of the knitted hem from the root of the thumb, these would be perfect gloves.

size S is okay, but the hem could start 1 to 2 cm lower, then it would be perfect
