A soft and fluffy quilt filled with Merino wool could be exactly what children need for a good night’s sleep. While this quilt is very light, it also brings you all the amazing properties of wool.

The combination of natural wool, cotton and synthetic fibre makes this basic quilt particularly light and soft. The cover is made of soft cotton and polyester mix, while inside, you will find high quality Merino wool, which stays in place thanks to clever stitching.

The quilt is remarkably comfortable, and thanks to the excellent insulating properties of wool, it warms children up really quickly. The high quality Merino wool filling is breathable and absorbs excess moisture, giving your little ones a good night’s sleep. The stitching on our quilts and pillows is done in a neat pattern, as we like to have not just soft things in our bedrooms, but pretty ones too.

This quilt is suitable to use all year round, it will give your children a good night’s sleep in any season. If it is cold, the wool will keep them warm all night long, while in summer, because the quilt is breathable and light, it won’t let little ones feel overly hot.

Wool is great at temperature control, which means that a wool quilt will keep you nice and warm in winter and cool you down in summer. What is more, wool captures all excess moisture and wicks it away from the body, so even if you sweat during the night, you will wake up dry and comfortable in the morning.

Thanks to lanolin and the special structure of wool fibre, wool does not harbour dust, and bacteria as well as dust mites do not thrive. Wool bedding is therefore perfect for allergy sufferers.

How to care for the product

MAINTENANCE

Blankets, duvets, pillows and other bedding made of sheep's wool should be shaken regularly and aired out in the fresh air. That way the material retains its fluffiness and softness, the wool wicks away excess moisture and mite breeding is reduced. Airing out also makes the natural smell of wool disappear faster.

If wool bedding needs to be cleaned with water, it is important to follow the symbols on the product label. If you are not sure whether machine washing is suitable, we recommend to wash everything by hand. If the instructions on the label allow, you can use the wool washing program on your washing machine.

Always remember to use a detergent suitable for wool, whether you are washing in the machine or by hand.
