Product description

The cover of our basic Merino wool pillow is ingenious. The outside is made of a cotton and synthetic fibre mix, the inside layer of Merino wool. Because it is evenly distributed and stitched in place, the amazing properties of wool are spread across the whole pillow.

Wool is great at temperature control, as it absorbs excess moisture and wicks it away. Thanks to lanolin and the special structure of wool fibre, wool does not harbour dust, and bacteria as well as dust mites do not thrive. Wool bedding is therefore perfect for allergy sufferers.

A great advantage of this pillow is the option to adjust its height. A handy zip on the side allows access to the soft polyester filling, so you can take some out to make the pillow comfortable for you.

Wool is great at temperature control, which means that you will not feel overly hot under a wool quilt in summer, on the contrary, because it is so light and breathable, you will sleep really well all year round. What is more, wool captures all excess moisture and wicks it away from the body, so even if you sweat during the night, you will wake up dry and comfortable in the morning.

How to care for the product

Blankets, duvets, pillows and other bedding made of sheep's wool should be shaken regularly and aired out in the fresh air. That way the material retains its fluffiness and softness, the wool wicks away excess moisture and mite breeding is reduced. Airing out also makes the natural smell of wool disappear faster.

If wool bedding needs to be cleaned with water, it is important to follow the symbols on the product label. If you are not sure whether machine washing is suitable, we recommend to wash everything by hand. If the instructions on the label allow, you can use the wool washing program on your washing machine.

Always remember to use a detergent suitable for wool, whether you are washing in the machine or by hand.
