Type II collagen, found in articular cartilage, and type I collagen are an important component of tendons, ligaments, bones and skin. In addition, the capsules contain extract of Boswellia serrata, or Indian frankincense. The active ingredient, boswellic acid, is acquired from the resin of this tree, which is beneficial for people who suffer from osteoarthritis, promoting healthy joints and muscles.
