The sole of these Joy trainers is flexible crosswise as well as lengthwise. It’s 6 mm thick, therefore ensuring maximum contact with the ground when walking and allowing the foot to feel any type of surface, which has a positive effect on the overall development of little feet. The sole has a finely perforated tread and is durable for ordinary activities little ones get up to. Thanks to the practical Velcro straps, they can be tightened well over the ankle so they also fit children with narrow heels. They are a great choice for feet with a dominant big toe and those with a triangular shape, wider at the front, narrower at the heel. The toe box is wide enough to provide plenty of room, which means the movement of toes is not restricted, allowing feet to work naturally when walking.

- Smooth (shiny) leather is easy to maintain. Use a soft brush to remove coarse dirt and wash the rest with water and a soft cloth.
- Brushed (fuzzy) leather is cleaned using a dry soft cloth, sponge, brush or special stain removal rubber.
Do not wash or soak leather shoes, the material may be damaged. If your shoes get wet or sweaty, you can put a dry cloth or crumpled paper in them after taking them off to draw the moisture out of the leather.
You can treat the leather with a protective product suitable for the type of leather. It helps protect the material from moisture and also makes cleaning the shoes easier.

How to measure?
To measure the size of your foot, all you need is paper, pencil and a ruler. Simply place a sheet of paper under your foot and trace the shape of your foot on it. The distance from the heel to the tip of the longest toe is the length of your foot.
Measure both feet! Each foot is different, and although the difference may be very small, it matters.
Use the size chart to choose a pair of shoes about 0.5 cm larger than the length of your foot. You need to leave a little extra room in the shoe so that your toes have room to move and the shoes don't pinch.
You can use the same measurement and sizing procedure when choosing insoles.
If you are deciding between two sizes, we recommend you opt for the larger one.
