You can adjust the length of the belt. Just detach the metal buckle, shorten the strap to the required length, and reattach the buckle. The cut edge will be completely covered by the buckle, and the long, unused end of the belt will not disturb you if you have a smaller waist circumference.

How do you ensure that your belt falls like a cast? You can find out the ideal length of the belt by measuring the length between the tip of the pin of the buckle and the middle hole (that is, the 3rd). This will ensure that the belt sits as it should.
