Product description

Our premium line of Merino wool bedding will take your rest and sleep to the next level. Shearling Merino wool is wrapped in a cover made of high quality cotton, decorated with pretty stitching. Before finding its way into a quilt, wool is thoroughly cleaned, combed, and stripped of its natural odour.

A wool quilt isn’t a great choice just for cold winter nights, our Merino quilts can, without a doubt, be used in all seasons. It is because sheep’s wool has the ability to control temperature, which means that you will not feel hot under your summer quilt. On the contrary, because it is so light and breathable, you will sleep really well throughout the summer. What is more, wool captures all excess moisture and wicks it away from the body, so even if you sweat during the night, you will wake up dry and comfortable in the morning.

The cotton used on the outside of the quilt is gentle on human skin, airy and light. The premium line of our wool quilts is done in a beautiful cream colour, using a velvety soft material.

Due to the high lanolin content, wool is partly self-cleaning. We recommend you shake and air wool bedding frequently, as it will ensure they last for years and retain all its great qualities.

How to care for the product

Blankets, duvets, pillows and other bedding made of sheep's wool should be shaken regularly and aired out in the fresh air. That way the material retains its fluffiness and softness, the wool wicks away excess moisture and mite breeding is reduced. Airing out also makes the natural smell of wool disappear faster.

If wool bedding needs to be cleaned with water, it is important to follow the symbols on the product label. If you are not sure whether machine washing is suitable, we recommend to wash everything by hand. If the instructions on the label allow, you can use the wool washing program on your washing machine.

Always remember to use a detergent suitable for wool, whether you are washing in the machine or by hand.
