Product description

Our premium line of Merino wool bedding will take your rest and sleep to the next level. Shearling Merino wool is wrapped in a cover made of high quality cotton, decorated with pretty stitching. Before finding its way into a quilt, wool is thoroughly cleaned, combed, and stripped of its natural odour.

During long winter nights, it is necessary to have a good quilt, one which we can count on to keep us warm all night, no matter how cold it is. Merino wool is great at temperature control, so despite being extremely breathable, it retains the heat produced by the body and does not let us get cold. It absorbs and wicks excess moisture away from the body to the surface where it evaporates, so if you tend to sweat a lot at night, a wool quilt will keep you dry and comfortable all night long.

The cotton used on the outside of the quilt is gentle on human skin, airy and light. The premium line of our wool quilts is done in a beautiful cream colour, using a velvety soft material. Due to the high lanolin content, wool is partly self-cleaning.

We recommend you shake and air wool bedding frequently, as it will ensure they last for years and retain all its great qualities.

How to care for the product

MAINTENANCE

Blankets, duvets, pillows and other bedding made of sheep's wool should be shaken regularly and aired out in the fresh air. That way the material retains its fluffiness and softness, the wool wicks away excess moisture and mite breeding is reduced. Airing out also makes the natural smell of wool disappear faster.

If wool bedding needs to be cleaned with water, it is important to follow the symbols on the product label. If you are not sure whether machine washing is suitable, we recommend to wash everything by hand. If the instructions on the label allow, you can use the wool washing program on your washing machine.

Always remember to use a detergent suitable for wool, whether you are washing in the machine or by hand.

The cover is very good at keeping the heat in and is not heavy, but I would welcome a higher softness of the filling. I find the blanket rather stiff compared to the previous feather blanket and it bothers me a bit. I believe that after a while I will get used to it. I would recommend the product to all baby animals.

Prikryvka velmi dobre drzi teplo a neni tezka, ale uvitala bych vyssi mekkost vyplne. Deka mi prijde pomerne tuha v porovnani s predeslou perovou prikryvkou a trosku mi to vadi. Verim vsak, ze po case si zvyknu. Doporucila bych vyrobek vsem zmzlikum.
