Are ordinary blankets too short for you? Do you have to decide whether it will be your ankles or shoulders that will stay uncovered tonight? We have a great solution for you, at Woolville you can choose extra-long quilts, because wool is not just for winter. We can only recommend you try our quilts on warm summer nights too. It is because sheep’s wool has the ability to control temperature, which means that you will not feel hot under an all seasons wool quilt. On the contrary, because it is so light and breathable, you will sleep really well all year round. What is more, wool captures all excess moisture and wicks it away from the body, so even if you sweat during the night, you will wake up dry and comfortable in the morning.

Sheep’s wool is a natural, hypoallergenic material which doesn’t harbour dust, meaning bacteria and dust mites don’t thrive. We recommend airing wool bedding regularly in fresh air.

The cover is made of pure, soft cotton, and the filling is made of wool that has been cleaned, odour neutralised and combed to the highest possible softness.

How to care for the product

Blankets, duvets, pillows and other bedding made of sheep's wool should be shaken regularly and aired out in the fresh air. That way the material retains its fluffiness and softness, the wool wicks away excess moisture and mite breeding is reduced. Airing out also makes the natural smell of wool disappear faster.

If wool bedding needs to be cleaned with water, it is important to follow the symbols on the product label. If you are not sure whether machine washing is suitable, we recommend to wash everything by hand. If the instructions on the label allow, you can use the wool washing program on your washing machine.

Always remember to use a detergent suitable for wool, whether you are washing in the machine or by hand.
