Vitamin D3 is very important for the human body because it has a positive effect on our immune and musculoskeletal systems, while also being crucial for the absorption and regulation of calcium. It is formed in skin by the exposure to sunlight, so it is often called the “sunshine vitamin”.

The capsules contain a high dose of vitamin D3 in combination with beta-glucans, zinc and selenium, which are important for supporting the immune system. The human body doesn’t always have sufficient amount of D3 vitamin, it is therefore recommended to take a supplement if one lacks sunlight long term. It is also essential for growing children (for proper bone development), as well as for older people, women in menopause or people who experience increased physical activity.

Selenium is an important antioxidant that protects cells from oxidative stress, supports the body’s defence system and promotes thyroid function.
Zinc boosts the immune system and helps maintain healthy bones, hair, nails, skin and eyes.
