If you want to enjoy a really good night’s sleep and rest, we at Woolville recommend you get yourself wool bedding. Merino wool is a natural material obtained by shearing young sheep, at a time when their wool is extremely soft. This means that products made of Merino wool are really soft and feel lovely on the skin. What is more, there is no need to worry about itchiness. One side of this cute pillow with dancing sheep from Vlnka is made of velvety smooth cotton which will look great in any bedroom or living room, though it is most popular with children.

The hollowfibre filling allows the pillow to keep shape and fluffiness. Merino wool is also great at temperature control, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer, while wicking excess moisture away from the skin, should you sweat during the night. Sleep soundly on a dry and comfortable pillow every night and wake up rested and full of energy. A handy zip on the side allows the cover to be easily removed and washed, either by hand or in the washing machine at a maximum of 30 °C.

How to care for the product

Blankets, duvets, pillows and other bedding made of sheep's wool should be shaken regularly and aired out in the fresh air. That way the material retains its fluffiness and softness, the wool wicks away excess moisture and mite breeding is reduced. Airing out also makes the natural smell of wool disappear faster.

If wool bedding needs to be cleaned with water, it is important to follow the symbols on the product label. If you are not sure whether machine washing is suitable, we recommend to wash everything by hand. If the instructions on the label allow, you can use the wool washing program on your washing machine.

Always remember to use a detergent suitable for wool, whether you are washing in the machine or by hand.
