These unique folklore patterns called Čičmanky (pronounced chich-manki) are named after the village of Čičmany in Slovakia, where these patterns originated and where they are still an important part of folk traditions today. At Woolville we use these patterns to decorate our popular cork slip-ons.
The cork sole of the slip-ons is flexible and durable, and together with the anatomically shaped leather insole, they make comfortable shoes for everyday wear.

How to measure?
To measure the size of your foot, all you need is paper, pencil and a ruler. Simply place a sheet of paper under your foot and trace the shape of your foot on it. The distance from the heel to the tip of the longest toe is the length of your foot.
Measure both feet! Each foot is different, and although the difference may be very small, it matters.
Use the size chart to choose a pair of shoes about 0.5 cm larger than the length of your foot. You need to leave a little extra room in the shoe so that your toes have room to move and the shoes don't pinch.
You can use the same measurement and sizing procedure when choosing insoles.
If you are deciding between two sizes, we recommend you opt for the larger one.
