Woollen dryer balls work by absorbing moisture and changing the direction of the flow of hot air in the dryer. Traditional plastic or textile dryer balls contain harsh chemicals to soften the laundry. Woollen balls, on the contrary, are very gentle and natural alternative. They are able to reduce static and save not only time but energy too, while the wool makes drying less noisy as well. Their biggest advantage is perhaps the fact that we can use these balls instead of softener.

You can rub some essential oil on them, which will give your laundry a pleasant and long-lasting fragrance. What is more, clothing doesn’t get creased too much, making ironing easier. The wool these balls are made of is antibacterial and antifungal. You can also use them outside the dryer by placing them in a basket with freshly washed clothing, where they will absorb moisture before you hang your clothes. We also recommend them for people with sensitive skin and young children. They will last up to 1500 drying cycles. The more balls you put in the dryer, the faster your laundry will dry.
