Hypoallergenic

Kapok, also known as plant silk or plant down, is a natural, renewable material from tropical trees. The hollow kapok fibres stand out for their lightness and softness, are naturally hypoallergenic and do not attract dust or mites. The blanket's fabric and part of the filling is organic cotton, indispensable for anyone who likes to sleep in a very natural, fresh and gentle sleeping climate.

We recommend regularly airing the kapok blanket so that moisture can freely evaporate from the fibres and they retain their lightness and breathability. You can wash it in a washing machine on the delicate or wool programme, with a water temperature of up to 40 °C and the lowest possible spin speed (maximum 400 rpm). Always use a detergent suitable for natural fibres. Dry spread out in a well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight. The blanket does not belong in the tumble dryer.
