Merino wool obtained from young sheep is a very soft, high quality natural material. There is no need to worry about itchiness or getting too warm. Merino wool is great at temperature control, which means you don’t feel uncomfortably hot on warm days, as it is able to remove heat from the body and wick excess moisture away.

How to care for the product

Blankets, duvets, pillows and other bedding made of sheep's wool should be shaken regularly and aired out in the fresh air. That way the material retains its fluffiness and softness, the wool wicks away excess moisture and mite breeding is reduced. Airing out also makes the natural smell of wool disappear faster.

If wool bedding needs to be cleaned with water, it is important to follow the symbols on the product label. If you are not sure whether machine washing is suitable, we recommend to wash everything by hand. If the instructions on the label allow, you can use the wool washing program on your washing machine.

Always remember to use a detergent suitable for wool, whether you are washing in the machine or by hand.
