It is the ideal choice for winter hikes when minimum weight and maximum performance are required. The jacket is great in any weather, you don’t need to worry about wet snow or drizzle. It is also windproof and perfect to use as an insulating layer under a winter jacket.
The Pertex® Quantum material is a tightly woven recycled polyamide material that is both windproof and highly breathable. The ripstop weave makes it pretty hardwearing and snag resistant, yet it is soft and flexible. The jacket is very light and comfortable to wear.
There is a pocket on the left side of the chest, perfect for your ID, some cash or a mobile phone (the phone battery will be insulated and won’t drain too quickly). In addition, there are also two spacious pockets on each side of the chest that allow access even when you are carrying a backpack with a hip belt. These pockets can also be used for ventilation as they are lined with mesh.
The high collar and elasticated cuffs on the sleeves and waist increase the thermal comfort.
