While the fact that the Ortovox Piz Bial jacket is reversible means you can coordinate it with the rest of your outfit, the main idea is making use of the high-performance materials. The insulating layer made of wool absorbs sweat and wicks it away from the body. However, moisture is absorbed gradually, so whenever you decide to stop on your way, simply turn the jacket inside out with the dry side to your body and you’ll instantly feel really comfortable again. Meanwhile, the sweaty side will dry out within minutes.
The high collar and elasticated cuffs on the sleeves and waist increase the thermal comfort. The jacket is windproof and water repellent.
