Another advantage of Merino Air functional underwear is the flat seams and the added polyamide silk improves elasticity, shape stability and extends the life of the garment. The combination of natural wool and artificial fiber is a quick-drying material, which also does not breed bacteria and thus does not smell. Sheep's wool also keeps you warm even when wet, which is an advantage against colds after sports performance.

Items made of sheep’s wool are easy to care for. Thanks to its natural lanolin content, wool can clean itself. You can help this process by giving your woolly items a good shake and airing them outside regularly. This way, the material retains its fluffiness and softness, while excess moisture is removed, which prevents dust mites from breeding. In addition, the natural smell of wool dissipates more quickly with regular airing.
The thermal underwear is usually machine washable up to 30°C. Always follow the product label instructions to see if the product is suitable for machine washing and what temperature to wash it at.

How to measure?
Our sheep wool vests are straight cut, so they are the same width all the way round. We therefore recommend that you measure at the widest point of your torso, and choose a vest at least a few centimetres larger to accommodate another layer of clothing underneath.
Merino wool sweaters are made from a wool knit, so they are stretchy and conform to your body shape. For children's patterns, you just need to know your torso height, but for adult sweaters chest circumference is also important. Use this information to choose the ideal size quickly and easily.
We recommend that you choose thermal underwear that is more fitted to the body. Sizes may vary between manufacturers, so please check the size charts before purchasing.
